Pocket Football Sound is a soundboard app that delivers popular and well known sounds associated with the sport in you'll hear in England. From the referee's whistle to terrace chants, to friendly banter, each sound is available at the touch of a button.

If you're any sort of football fan you'll recognise most, if not all of the above.The sound quality, despite being slightly muffled at times is clear enough to get a pass. And the sounds chosen show that the guys behind it at least know their stuff. The Ovi Store description suggests that it's a handy tool to take to football matches, but we reckon it'll work just as well, if not better in at home watching the footy on TV with your mates as a novelty.
Overall Pocket Football Fan is a fun little novelty app full of sounds most UK-based football fans will recognise. We doubt anyone will actually use it at the football but as a plaything it's a neat little free download that does what it does well.
