The unboxing video is becoming a tech blogging staple, so much so that Nokia has released its own pre-emptive strike in the form of this official interactive unboxing of the Nokia N8. We'll have our own, rather more in depth look at the Nokia N8 as soon as we get our hands on one but until then, Brenda, Ryan and Suzy would like a word...

In Nokia's interactive video, three spokesmodels are on hand to take you through the basics of the Nokia N8. There is pretty, no-nonsense Brenda, central casting nerd Ryan and glamorous, slightly too full of herself Suzy.

The clever YouTube clip lets you click on one of them and be taken to their individual unboxing clip. Brenda takes you through the Blue Nokia N8, Ryan the Dark Grey and Suzy the Green. All three are roughly the same, pointing out the HDMI out, USB tethering and other hardware features as well as the new Symbian^3 OS.

What can we learn from these clips? Well, aside from what the phone looks like relative to a model/actor's hands we now know that 'Nokia N8' when pronounced by an English speaking Finn sounds like 'Nokia Nate'. We also learned that it is probably not a good idea to read the YouTube comments for things like this, particularly on Suzy's clip..
