Nokia's new Foursquare app will be arriving on the Ovi Store next week. The app, which lets you display your location to your buddies, and discover new places got its first showing here at Nokia World 2010. Read on to learn more about it.
The Symbian Nokia Foursquare app, which is made by the folks at Nokia make sit even easier to use the service on Nokia devices. Nokia World 2010 attendees got to see the new foursquare app running on a Nokia N8, impressing many.
Made by Nokia, it looks typically Symbian, in keeping with traditional Nokia design. As well as being able to display your location after checking in, there are options to check out the badges you can earn by checking into various city venues and the ability to scan your locale for nearby Tweets from your mates.
The tech guys at Electricpig had a play with it early on, and found it to work very efficiently, despite being deep within London's Excel Centre, where Nokia World 2010 is taking place.
The Symbian Foursquare app will be available to Symbian^3 and S60 5th edition and S60 3.2 devices or above.
