Last week we asked you whether the new Nokia C6-01 could be the replacement for the Nokia 5230. We're now wondering whether the Nokia C7 may be a good replacement for your Nokia X6. Join us after the break to find out...
The Nokia X6 has turned out to be one of Nokia's best touchscreen smartphones, being the first Nokia device to feature capacitive technology. If yours is getting on a bit, perhaps the Nokia C7 could be the perfect replacement.
Just like its sibling, the Nokia C7 features a capacitive touchscreen, which dominates the front of the handset. Here it's a 3.5-inch panel, against 3.2 inches, and also adds AMOLED colour technology.

Nokia has moved the game on when it comes to the design. The Nokia X6 looks great in isolation, but with the two smartphones together the curvy styling of the Nokia C7 looks a lot more modern.
We're also more impressed with the build quality on the Nokia C7, which uses stainless steel to great effect. The Nokia X6 is constructed from plastic, although it's still easily tough enough for daily use.
When it comes to the specification, the Nokia X6 can easily hold its own. It's available with up to 32GB of internal storage, making it a great media device. The Nokia C7 only has 8GB, but it also features a microSD slot – letting you add an extra 32GB.
The 5-Megapixel camera on the Nokia X6 – featuring Carl Zeiss optics and autofocus – is upgraded to an 8-Megapixel sensor on the Nokia C7. It loses the Carl Zeiss optics, but results from the EDoF lens are stunning.
Other specs are suitably high-end on both handsets, with GPS and Ovi Maps in place, 3G/HSDPA connectivity, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The Nokia C7 also gets Bluetooth 3.0, offering faster connection speeds.
Overall, we couldn't be much more impressed with the Nokia C7 – it's a great handset. What do you think, though? Would you be willing to upgrade your Nokia X6? Let us know in the comments below.
