Yesterday the Nokia E7 popped up on a major UK reseller, and although it's not available for dispatch until the 10th January, it did have a UK price. To find out how much you'll have to pay for the Nokia E7, join us after the cut...
The Nokia E7 is one of Nokia's smartest smartphones – the company itself called it a “mobile office” at Nokia World a couple of weeks ago, and it's packed with great features.
From the anodised aluminium casing, to the slide and tilting QWERTY keypad, to the 4-inch screen, there's loads to like about the Nokia E7. Rumours on the internet claim that the Nokia E7 will be available in Q4 this year, but reseller Expansys are set to deliver in January 2011.

As a high-end handset, we knew the Nokia E7 wasn't likely to be cheap, but even we're surprised by just how expensive it is if you buy through Expansys. At £585 (inc. VAT), it's nearly £250 more than the cheapest Nokia N8 price – which is available for £330 (inc. VAT) from Tesco Direct.
With a better spec – including the staggering 12-Megapixel camera, and the ability to add extra storage via microSD card, at first glance the Nokia N8 actually sits higher up in Nokia's smartphone range, so the price difference is a shock.
Even if you buy the Nokia N8 through Expansys, it's still £160 less than the Nokia E7, at £420. Then again, for some users a QWERTY keyboard is a must, and the Nokia E7 is indeed a mobile office. The big screen makes it easier to edit documents or browse the web, and the keyboard makes light work of longer emails. Build quality is also amazing.
Don't get too upset about the price though - Nokia has no control over reseller pricing, and the Nokia E7 will obviously appear with other resellers – including Nokia Online, where it'll hopefully be cheaper. We're also hoping it'll pop up on Tesco Direct at an equally compelling price as the Nokia N8.
Either way, we're interested in your thoughts. How much more will you be willing to pay for the Nokia E7? It's obviously aimed at a different market to the Nokia N8, with business users firmly in mind - how much is that QWERTY keypad worth to you?
