Nokia C6: The Bits We Like The Best

The Nokia C6-01 is an all-new phone, following in the footsteps of the Nokia N8 but offering a lot of the features at a lower price. We've been thinking about the bits we like the best on the Nokia C6 – join us after the cut to find out more...

Although our time with the Nokia C6-01 has been limited to a play with the handset at Nokia World last month, it's enough to know that we really like the new Nokia C6's form factor.

With a 3.2-inch screen, it feels a lot smaller in the hand than the Nokia N8, and the rounded edges give it an almost pebble-like shape. Although it's thicker than the Nokia N8, we can imagine the more compact and size being incredibly popular, and the Nokia C6-01 feels closer to a feature phone than a smartphone.

The glass display on the Nokia C6-01 is the first Nokia device to get CBD (Clear Black Display) technology, and the resulting colours are particularly vivid and deep.

We also love the brand new Symbian ^3 operating system, with its multiple home screens and quick responses, and the inclusion of social networking integration is a boon.

We'll be bringing you more of the features we love about the Nokia C6 over the next couple of weeks – and even more when we get our hands on a review sample – but in the meantime we'd also love to hear what you think about Nokia's new handset.
