Ovi Store game review: Jigsaw Puzzle

The art of puzzle building isn't forgotten just yet. Jigsaw Puzzle, available for free on the Ovi Store brings with it six fun puzzles of variable difficulty to Nok phones. Like puzzles? You'll like this.

According to the Ovi Store description, Jigsaw Puzzle offers "Vibrant photos, entertaining puzzles, engaging music." We're not sure about the latter. But still, two out of three ain't bad.

There are six puzzles in total with the following photos: a boy and a clock, parrot, Russia's Kremlin, Tiger, a bunch of pencils and a snazzy door. It doesn't sound like much, but jigsaw fans will find the puzzles bright and as vibrant as promised.

To choose a puzzle simply tap on the arrows on the selection screen. Once you've decided on your chosen puzzle tap to select it, and then tap the green arrows once more depending on your chosen difficulty: Beginner, Novice or Expert.

Once you're in, assembling the puzzles is as easy as swiping the tiles across your Nok's screen. There's no timer or anything, so you've got all the time in the world to piece them together at your leisure. Once you've cleared them you'll get a lovely well done message.

There isn't a great deal to say regarding gameplay, but the puzzles are pleasant enough to clear on any difficulty. If you're having trouble, tap on the question mark in the bottom left to display a picture of what the puzzle should look like once assembled.

You won't attain the same level of satisfaction from assembling these digital puzzles as you would the real thing, but if you're a jigsaw fan, and want something to occupy you on the train, Jigsaw Puzzle delivers. We just wish there were more than six puzzles.
