It's only been a couple of weeks since the launch of the mid-range Nokia C7, but already the device has popped up on Nokia's website. It now also has a UK price, and is available for pre-order. Read on after the jump to find out more...

The Nokia C7 is the second Symbian ^3 smartphone to be launched, following in the footsteps of the impressive Nokia N8.

As with its more expensive sibling, you'll find stunning build quality – with a glass display and multi-touch on offer. The Nokia C7 also gets a stainless steel casing, and an all new contemporary design.

The Nokia C7 is now available to pre-order, either as part of a contract or SIM free. If you opt for the former route, it'll cost you £25 per month, with no cost for the handset itself.

Buy the Nokia C7 SIM free, and it'll cost you £389 – a good chunk less than the £429 quoted on Nokia Online for the Nokia N8. With the Nokia N8 available through Tesco for a lot less, it's also likely that the Nokia C7 will appear for less than the quoted price.

Will you be buying the Nokia C7? Let us know if so.

    It’s £359 on expansys.com btw.

I was hoping it’d be a bit less than that to be honest but it’s still the favourite contender for replacing my E71.

On Saturday I was in Carphone Warehouse and asked the sales assistant if they had the C7. It was on their system but no price yet and availability was from November.

The N8 they had in the shop on display had the aluminium plate ripped off the camera module. It appears to be just glued on to the sticky out plastic underneath. I wonder if we’ll see that being a common failure of the N8. Phones on display have a hard life but it didn’t look good and strikes me as a design flaw.
