Nokia N8 Vs Apple iPhone 4: N8 is £299 Cheaper!
By Phil Barker on October 18,

The Nokia N8 has already proved itself capable of taking on the best smartphones in the business. With the greatest camera and one of the toughest designs, it could easily command a higher price tag. Thankfully, the N8 is surprisingly affordable, with prices starting at just £25 per month. Join us after the cut for the cheapest Nokia N8 deals...

The Nokia N8 is the best smartphone we've seen this year, going head to head with Apple's iPhone 4 and coming out top. It's the only one of the two to escape reception issues, for a start, and the anodised aluminium casing is a lot more robust.

Nokia N8 Review: Symbian ^3 and Software

It's easy to make a case for the Nokia N8 then, but once price comes into it there can only be one winner. Again, it's the Nokia N8, but this time it's an even more comprehensive thrashing.

Head over to the Tesco Phone Shop, and you'll be able to get the Nokia N8 for free on a £25 per month contract. You'll also get unlimited text messages, with either Vodafone or O2.

Looking at the O2 shop, and on similar £25 per month deals, and you'll have to fork out a scarcely believable £299 to get your hands on the Apple iPhone 4 – a handset with considerably poorer specs. We know where our money would be going!

Nokia is still the smartphone king, I think a nokia is cheaper than a iphone, and which is very practical.
I get used to use a Nokia phone, I think just the people who chase after fashion may buy a expensive iphone in our country. meantime, I think the High-resolution Nokia display is right for me to watch movies , I like watching movies with my nokia with the help of Aneesoft Nokia video converter

xiaoa which nokia high resolution screen are u watching coz i havent heard of any? the n8 is the same resolution as the older iphone models where as iphone 4 is 4 times better. 640×480 compared to 960×640. nokia n8 spec may look good but id give it a few handsets before i try symbian 3 coz nokia have a tendency to throw out incomplete buggy and annoyingly crash prone operaring systems.

We have the HTC Desire and Sony Minipro X10 and the N8 Nokia in my family. All I can say is I liked them all and each can hold themselves out for different reasons. Of all the phones, the Sony minipro is the smallest and so convenient to carry around. The nitpicks are poor bluetooth, terrible frequent camera blurs and awful youtube images. I really liked my brother’s HTC Desire for nice youtube images and basic office purposes and it’s really superior compared to the minipro. The Nokia N8 which I had to wait for ordering turned out to be a pleasant experience for me. It was well priced and so far I am glad to say I have been using it to surf the internet everyday when I am not using my pc. My sister have given up surfing on her too- tiny minipro which was purchased 3 weeks ago.
