We already knew the Nokia N900 is capable of playing a host of games. But now the N900 has been spotted running WebOS games, such as The Sims 3 without having to run a different operating system. Could this be a sign of better things to come on the gaming front for the N900? Read on for a glimpse of the possibilities...

The Nokia N900 is already capable of doing some amazing things (check out this painting as an example). Now, to get even more from the Nokia N900, it appears that Maemo fans have released a package letting the N900 run webOS (the operating system found in the Palm Pre) titles.

However you will need to modify the N900 to create a launch icon for such games on the Nokia N900, but it once again shows what can be done on the this fantastic handset. Hopefully this can be a sign we'll get to see more top quality games heading to the device.

Here's a video of The Sims 3 and Need For Speed Undercover working on the N900 with no noticeable lag:

I have been the disgruntled owner of a Nokia N 900 for almost 7 months.
I am disgusted with the phone, the service and cannot understand how Nokia is the supposed leader in the industry. This phone could only work for kids who have nothing else to do but play games ande send text messages. A serious business person could not possibly be satisfied with the non-user friendly and archaic system, not to mention the non- existent customer service and particularly the lies.

Don’t think it can’t happen to you!
