Want to make your Nokia N8 movies look like a Hollywood picture? Lighting is your friend, according to digital photography guru Haje Jan Kamps. As the video below, courtesy of Nokia Conversations explains, lighting is possibly the most important feature of any film.
A good place to start is the three point lighting technique: backlighting, keylight and your fill light, as explained in the video. But do remember to set your mode to black and white before you get started. That's the best way to refine your lighting.
Once you've done that you can create all kinds of lighting effects to give your N8 movies all sorts of dramatic looks should you want to star as a mad scientist in your own film.
