The Nokia N8 has reinvented the mobile phone for Nokia, offering a number of firsts in the high-end smartphone market. It's the first handset to feature Symbian ^3, and a multi-touch capacitive screen really lets you get the best out of the new OS.

According to an announcement via Twitter, the “N8 has received the highest amount of consumer pre-orders” in Nokia's history – which is some achievement considering the company's placement as the world number one seller of smartphones.
With Symbian ^3 set to receive a host of updates in the new year – such as a completely new web browser, the Nokia N8 has the potential to get even better, and we wouldn't be surprised if it ends up as Nokia's best selling smartphone ever.
