One of the great things about Symbian is that it's really easy to change themes, with new colours, menus and icons making a world of difference if you fancy a change. To find out how to change the themes on your Nokia N8, read on after the cut...

Changing the theme on your Nokia N8 is a simple way of making your device look fresh and different. It's easy to do, and takes seconds, letting you change the menus to match the colour of your Nokia N8.

Check out our Nokia N8 ultimate guide!

To get started, click on the Menu button, and then press Settings. From here, it's simply a case of pressing Themes, and General. You'll see a list of themes for you to choose from – as soon as you try clicking on one, the Nokia N8 will change to that theme, with menu colours changing accordingly.

There are also a host of new themes available using the software update on your Nokia N8 – we'll be telling you how to do this next week. The newer themes also update the icons in your Nokia N8's menu, with some of the widget animations getting a refresh as well.
