The Nokia N8 is capable of great things, but you'll need to download more apps to get the best out of it. If you're confused about how to use the Ovi Store, then join us after the cut, where we'll be explaining all you need to know...
As soon as you get your Nokia N8, there should be a link to the Ovi Store on one of the widgets on one of the three home pages. The icon is a little blue bag, with Ovi written on it. If it's not there, and you want to add it, simply check out our Nokia N8: Ultimate User Guide to find out how to configure your home page.
The Ovi Store can also be launched from the main menu, simply press the menu button, and then click on the little blue bag icon.
The first time you use Ovi, you'll have to download the app. Click on the icon, and follow the instructions onscreen to get started. You'll also have to register, but this is both free and easy to do.
Once you're signed in, you're ready to start browsing for apps and games to download. As default, the Ovi Store shows recommended apps, but it's also possible to view by type – simply click Categories, and then pick from Applications, Games, Audio and Video and Personalisation.
If you get confused at any point, simply press the Back button on the bottom right of the screen. If you get really lost, click Store Menu, and then either Store Home or Store Categories – letting you start again.
To download an app, simply click on it, and then press Download. Once it's downloaded, it'll install automatically. You can then either launch from the Ovi Store, or continue browsing.
Whenever you download a title, the app will be saved in Account. You can head back there if there's a paid for app you need to download again.
