There's all kinds of apps on the Ovi Store – from the downright bizarre, to games, to really useful apps. We'd imagine Nokia Battery Monitor would fall into the latter camp (although we haven't had the chance to try it yet).
Nokia N8: How to improve battery life
Available for free from the Ovi Store, Nokia Battery Monitor should be an ideal companion for your Nokia N8. Unlike the integrated monitor, this app tells you how many hours you can expect from your handset – including talk time, hours spent listening to music and more.
You can also monitor past usage using Nokia Battery Monitor, with the battery monitor giving details of previous days, so you can see exactly how long you're getting out of each charge with your Nokia N8.
