The Nokia C3-01 Touch and Type is a funky hybrid phone that follows in the footsteps of the Nokia X3-02 Touch and Type by having a touchscreen as well as integrated keypad, effectively giving you the best of both input worlds. The Nokia C3-01 Touch and Type also packs in some other great features for an entry-level phone. Read on to find out about the best Nokia C3-01 Touch and Type pay monthly deals around...

The Nokia C3-01 Touch and Type comes with a touchscreen 2.4-inch screen, runs the Series 40 OS and even packs in a 5-Megapixel camera, which is pretty amazing when you consider this phone sells for less than £160 (inc. VAT) SIM free.

Other features on the Nokia C3 Touch and Type include 3G/HSDPA and Wi-Fi, making it easy to browse the internet or download, and you can add microSD cards of up to 32GB, offering more than enough storage space for all your digital music or photographs.

If you want to get your hands on the Nokia C3-01 Touch and Type under contract there are some pretty decent deals out there. For example, T-Mobile is offering the Nokia C3-01 Touch and Type for free on a £15 a month contract. At this price you'll get 300 Anytime Minutes, 300 free texts and even 1GB of mobile internet, which sounds pretty good to us.

Going up the price scale, you can pick up the Nokia C3-01 Touch and Type for £20 a month on Vodafone. The 500 texts is tempting but with only 100 minutes of talk time and 250MB of mobile internet, we're hoping the coverage is better.

O2 is offering the Nokia C3-01 Touch and Type free of charge with six months free line rental when you sign up to its £25 a month plan. We like the fact you get unlimited texts, perfect for staying in touch and while the 500MB of mobile internet a month is OK by us, the 100 Anytime Minutes may well curb the chatter.

The Nokia C3-01 Touch and Type is a great handset for anyone looking to make the most of social networking and with the dual-input design of the phone you can use it where you want in the way you find most comfortable. @Jawad – the image is correct for the Nokia C3-01 as it’s a brand new phone. It’s all part of Nokia’s new naming convention. We’ll let the guys from the official Nokia blog sum it up:

‘Just a quick reminder about Nokia’s device-naming conventions. The letter indicates which product range the device belongs to. Cseries devices are aimed at those for whom cost is the most important factor when it comes to buying a phone. Xseries is geared towards youth and has an emphasis on music. (Eseries is aimed at business users and Nseries, the smartphone connoisseurs).

The numbers gives an indication of the feature set and price, relative to other members of the range. So, a Nokia C2 is going to cost less than a Nokia C3, for example, but won’t offer quite as many features.’
