The Nokia C2-01 was announced by Nokia this morning, and is set to become the Finnish manufacturer's cheapest 3G handset. With a stylish design and large, easy to use buttons, it could be the perfect entry-level device. Join us after the cut to find out more...

Physically, the Nokia C2-01 looks very much like the Nokia C3 Touch and Type, with a tiny casing, stylish appearance and large buttons below the screen.

There's no touchscreen here, however, in a bid to keep costs as low as possible. You will get 3G connectivity, however, with the Nokia C2-01 being Nokia's cheapest 3G handset.

Features on the Nokia C2-01 include a compact 2-inch screen, making the phone small enough to take with you wherever you go, and there's also a 3.2-Megapixel camera on board.

The Nokia C2-01 gets Nokia's S40 operating system, but you'll find a host of updated features, such as threaded text messaging. This promises to make it easier to keep track of your conversations. With support for the Ovi Store, the Nokia C2-01 will also get Ovi Life Tools functionality.

Bluetooth connectivity is built-in, along with an FM radio, highlighting just how far entry-level phones have come in the past couple of years. You'll also be able to listen to your own music on the Nokia C2-01, with microSD cards of up to 16GB supported.

Available at the beginning of 2011, the Nokia C2-01 is expected to cost around 70 Euros. Check back here for all the official Nokia C2-01 photographs.

this is my 2nd comment on this website, i found this website very useful. Nokia is producing marvellous phones everyday but i m not satisfied with the speed of the new phones , they are having very heavy theme and software installed , but processor speed isnt sufficint ….. Nokia should look into this matter ……….
