The Nokia X2-01 has been announced and combines the square-jaw styling of the current X Series with the full QWERTY action we've come to love on the Nokia C3. Designed with social messaging in mind, this entry-level smartphone comes in a host of fresh colours. Read on to check out the Nokia X2-01 official photos and see which colour you like best.

The Nokia X2-01 is a full QWERTY device built around a 2.4-inch screen and running the S40 OS. With an expected price, before taxes, of around 80 Euros, this is a budget phone for those who need to stay in touch.

Secondary features are kept to a minimum, so you won't find Wi-Fi, nor 3G built-in but with a camera and GPRS/EDGE connectivity you'll still find this a highly usable phone. With four different colours on offer, you'll be able to choose from a standard Black or White versions, along with X Series signature colours of Red & Black as well as Black & Blue.

So, which version of the Nokia X2-01 do you like best? Nokia has stated the new QWERTY handset will ship this quarter so we'll be able to get our hands on it before Christmas. Let us know what you think in the Comments below.
