A few weeks ago, we compared the Nokia N8 and the Nokia C7. We've since published lots of photographs of the two devices together, and it's generated a lot of interest as to which is the most desirable. Join us after the break to find out what the people think...
Nokia N8 or Nokia C7, that's the question. To our eyes, there's no doubt that the Nokia C7 is the more attractive device – at least in pure design terms. However, bring build quality or specs into the equation and the Nokia N8 is right back at the top. Pricing an issue? You'll be wanting the Nokia C7 then.
There are so many variables to think about, and only you can decide what matters to you most when you're actually buying a phone. With that in mind, read on to find out what the people think. Reader AT33 immediately opts for the Nokia C7, pointing out that it's thinner and better looking. He (or indeed she!) goes on to say:
“Oh and one thing the C7 does better, it has dedicated call and kill buttons up front!!! That’s a huge disadvantage in the N8 which I could never get used to. I need to be able to kill a call with a button up front with 100% surety. I hate that my iPhone 4 does not have dedicated call and kill buttons have!!!.”
SnaxMuppet can't decide between the two, stating: “I am having real difficulty with deciding which one to get. I want the camera of the N8 but prefer the more 'candy bar' style of the C7 along with the removable battery and call/kill buttons”.
Another reader in favour of the Nokia C7 – Atif Khan points out that he (or she) looked at both handsets, but opted to buy the Nokia C7. “The feature difference is nothing in both the mobiles except the camera, and that is no big deal”.

It's not all one way traffic though, as plenty of people are in favour of the Nokia N8. Manac Kashyap points out that “no doubt... N8 is the best handset”, and another supporter of our Facebook group – Len Channon – believes that the “N8 wins hands down”.
SnaxMuppet gets the last word here, however: “Let’s face it… they are both excellent phones and whatever one I go for I will probably grow to love”. Here here!
