The Nokia E7 and Nokia C6-01 may be designed to appeal to different market segments but they have one thing definitely in common – they are the first smartphones to use Nokia’s new ClearBlack screen technology, which produces richer colours and no screen reflections. Check out the Nokia E7 preview video and see how great it looks…

The Nokia E7 looks set to kick 2011 off with a bang if the video hands-on from three is anything to go by. We get to see how strikingly similar it is in design to the Nokia N8, with the same range of metal and glass components used. W also get to see how slim it is, thanks to the use of a smaller camera housing on the back.

However, the real treat is in seeing how the 4-inch screen makes a difference to the size of the Nokia E7, allowing for what can only be described as an amazing QWERTY keyboard – we can’t wait to get our hands on this device, as email and messaging are going to be a dream.

Aside from the size difference, what we like about the video is that it really puts the Nokia ClearBlack display technology to the fore. The video is shot in a large well lit room and you can see how bright the Homescreen on the Symbian^3 OS look.

The video of the Nokia E7 in action is well worth checking out. It is a watch and let us know what you think of the Nokia E7 in the Comments below.
