Setting the clock as a screensaver on your Nokia N8 is an easy task, but if you’re new to Symbian, it can take a little getting used to.

Click the Menu button to get going. Then press Settings, followed by Themes. Tap Screen Saver, followed by Big Clock. This will automatically display the time on your Nokia N8, letting you use it as an oversized watch.

Need to save battery life? Turn power saving on, and the time will disappear again. Otherwise, it’ll appear every time your Nokia N8 is locked, also displaying the day and date below it.

You can also easily switch between an analogue and a digital clock on your Nokia N8. Click on the clock on the time widget of your Nokia N8, bringing up the Clock app. Then, simply tap on the clock itself, and it will swap between analogue and digital.

The change will also happen when the screensaver next pops up.
