Nokia N8: How To Delete Apps

We’ve seen a load of great apps pop up for the Nokia N8 on the Ovi Store recently, but if you’ve downloaded one you want to get rid of you may be wondering how to delete it. Read on after the break to find out how to delete unwanted apps…

With thousands of apps to choose from on the Ovi Store, it’s inevitable that you’ll download a few that you don’t like. There’s no point in leaving them on your Nokia N8 if you don’t use them, as they’ll just fill up your storage space.

Thankfully, it’s easy to delete apps. Click on the Menu button, followed by Applications, and scroll down until you see the app you want to delete.

Click on Options, followed by Organise. Tap and hold down the app you want to delete – after a second or two you’ll be offered two options – Move to folder and Delete. Click the latter to uninstall the app.

@ccsvchos – typically telco updates have their own tweaks and treats inside so you’ll need until Voda have their own specific version to roll out to its customers.

I have tried would you said but receive the message ‘removal cancelled’ and the app stays there. Is there another way?
