Nokia C7: How To Organise The Menu Layout
Got a new Nokia C7 and want to change the way the menu looks? One of the great things about Symbian ^3 is the fact it’s really adjustable – so you can move all your apps onto the main menu, or separate them between folders, and put your favourites at the top. Join us after the break to find out how to organise the menu on your Nokia C7…
As with older versions of Symbian, Symbian ^3 makes it easy to change the menu depending on what you prefer. Want everything to be located on the main menu page? Prefer to move apps between different folders? Thankfully both are easy to do.
To get started, click the menu button on your Nokia C7, and tap Options. Then press Organise. As soon as you do this, the icons will appear as individual tiles. You can move these tiles around – so you can have your favourite icons are the top, for instance.
Clicking on Applications takes you to the next menu. Again, you can move all your apps round, or to move one to the main menu, tap and hold it, and drag it to the ‘up’ folder at the top left of the screen.
You can do this for any of your apps, so they’ll all appear when you press the main menu button. You can also open other folders – such as Office – and move the apps from there into the Applications menu, or again into the main menu.
If you’ve got lots of apps, it can take a little while to organise everything, but once you do you’ll have a smartphone that’s ideally suited to your requirements.
