Adding contacts to the phone book on your Nokia N8 is one of the easiest things you can do – but also one of the most important. If you're new to Symbian or smartphones in general, then don't panic – simply follow the steps below to add your friends.
Click on the Nokia N8's menu button to get going, followed by Contacts. Then click Options, and New Contact – it really is this easy.
You can add a number of different details when adding a contact – including first and last names, email accounts and home and mobile phone numbers. If you want to add a business number as well, click on Options, Add Detail, and Mobile (Business).
You can also change other details – such as the ring tone for that particular contact. This means you'll know who's ringing without having to check the screen – as you can assign personal ring tones to all of your contacts.
