Is it just us or do the Nokia X3-02 Touch & Type and Nokia C3-01 Touch & Type devices have quite a few similarities? Both have numeric keypads ad a funky little touchscreen too but which one is better for you? We've lined both up side by side so you can see the differences for yourself. The Nokia X3-02 Touch & Type and Nokia C3-01 Touch & Type phones both use the Nokia S40 OS and are very much entry-level devices but as you'd expect coming from different Nokia Series there are key differences.

For starters, the Nokia X3-02 Touch is part of the music-centric set so you'll find a music player hardwired right onto the front of the device, while the Nokia C3-01 Touch & Type has more of a multimedia approach by having a hardware camera button instead.

Both come with some pretty amazing features considering both the Nokia X3-02 Touch & Type and Nokia C3-01 Touch & Type cost less than £150 (inc. VAT). For starters, both pack in a 5-Megapixel camera, with the Nokia C3-01 coming with Flash, while both pack in Wi-Fi for connecting to hotspots and your home network.

With so many similarities it may be hard to choose which you prefer but the styling of the Nokia X3-02 Touch & Type and Nokia C3-01 Touch & Type make them easy to tell apart. For starters, the Nokia X3-02 Touch & Type has a slightly shorter and squarer body. It comes with a plastic body and feels like it.

In contrast the Nokia C3-01 Touch & Type has a nice sculpted body with what feels like a metal body, giving it a far more sophisticated look and feel. We've lined up both devices below so you can  see the obvious differences.

    Such a cool idea, but I’ve said so before. Was that a mistake rearranging the * 0 # keys? The novelty might not be worth it for speed texters. The plastic resistive screens are very sensitive, and combined with a standard phone number pad it’s all so very usable. In fact, it makes you wonder if you ever really need a so called smart phone. Where’s the next version with sat nav? I’d love one, but waiting to see what comes next.
