We've seen loads of Nokia phones launched over the past year, but not every one has made it here to the UK. If you were hoping to get your hands on the entry-level Nokia 5228, the Nokia 5250 or Nokia C1-02, join us after the break to find out what happened to them...
Nokia launched a number of affordable smartphones last year, including the touchscreen Nokia 5228 and Nokia 5250. It also launched the entry-level Nokia C1-02, but since then we haven't seen any of these handsets on sale.
The Nokia C1-02 sits at the most affordable end of Nokia's mobile phone portfolio, offering a simple user experience that's perfect for those just wanting a phone for texting and telephone calls. It looks great, and is available in a number of colours. Although the Nokia C1-02 didn't make it to the UK, it is currently showing up on Nokia's European website, so head over there if you're interested.
The Nokia 5228 offers one of the cheapest touchscreen experiences on the market, and is based loosely on the big-selling Nokia 5800. It has the same 3.2-inch touchscreen, but offers less features to help keep the cost down.
Although we haven't heard much about it recently, the Nokia 5228 is also available through Nokia's European website. If you want to get hold of one here in the UK, head over to the Carphone Warehouse. The Nokia 5228 is available on Pay as You Go for just £50 – making it one of the cheapest touchscreen handsets we've ever seen.
The Nokia 5250 is another stunning touchscreen smartphone that didn't make it to the UK. Again, it pops up on Nokia's European website, but unfortunately we haven't managed to track it down in the UK.
