Nokia N8 Mini Remote Controlled Car!

It was only the other day that we brought you news of a real life-sized remote controlled car – controlled entirely by the Nokia N8. If it inspired you to do something similar, you could start with your very own Nokia-controlled car. Join us after the break to find out more…

OK, you won’t be able to drive on the road with this tiny Bluetooth controlled car – but you can definitely annoy your fellow office workers, and because you’ll be sitting there with Nokia in hand, they’ll never know who’s controlling it!

Just like the life-sized car, which was a BMW 1 Series, this Bluetooth model is based on a BMW – the new MINI. You won’t have to create your own software to operate it, either, as a Symbian app comes with it for free.

To drive the MINI forwards or backwards, simply move the onscreen gearstick. Want to turn right or left? Simply tap the steering wheel! It really couldn’t be easier, and you won’t need the latest Nokia to get it working, either.

All you’ll need is a Symbian S60 5th Edition handset like the Nokia 5800 or the Nokia N97 Mini. You can also use the BeeWi Mini Cooper S Bluetooth Car with the latest Symbian ^3 handsets, such as the Nokia N8 or Nokia C7. Keep an eye out here for a full review in the near future.
