We've seen loads of fantastic apps in the Ovi Store, and the House of Fraser app is the latest addition. Offering everything you need to find the perfect item of clothing, it's a must-have for your Nokia. Join us after the break for our full review...
Run the House of Fraser app and you'll be left in no doubt when there's a sale on – with the top of the screen in portrait mode covered by a sign stating: “The Best Ever Sale”.
Underneath this, you'll be able to click Brands or Find a Store. There's an entire menu below, offering different types of clothing and products for men, women, boys and girls.
You can also search for home products, furniture, electrical goods, gifts for your loved ones and from a bargain basement clearance section.
Searching via brand, you'll be offered a staggering selection of different products. You can select the brand by letter – with a huge variety on offer just in the A category alone.
Clicking on a particular type of item brings up a scrollable page of products. There are photographs arranged in two columns, and we found it easy to pick things we liked using our Nokia N8 and its large 3.5-inch screen.
Once you've picked a product, you'll be able to view it from a couple of different angles, along with finding more details – such as size, what it's made of or other specs.
You can buy the product straight from the House of Fraser app – either saving it for collection in store, or getting it delivered straight to your door.
Overall, this is a great little app. Even though the Nokia N8 features a much smaller screen than a home computer, it's still easy to find things you like and to buy them within a couple of minutes.
