Nokia Ovi Suite is the central station connecting your Nokia smartphone to your laptop or PC. It's the place you can easily and effortlessly backup and synchronise your files, contacts, photos and music. We last saw a major update for Nokia Ovi Suite back in January, so this latest update is very much a system bump.

The Nokia Ovi Suite version 3.0.0.290 upgrade has hit and can be downloaded now. When you open the Ovi Suite you'll see an update icon has been added to the Software Updater badge in the toolbar. The 72MB update is pretty quick to download and while most fo the update concerns itself with adding greater stability to the programs it controls, there are a couple of important new features.

The big news is that synchronising your Contacts from your Nokia smartphone to Ovi Suite is now a good deal easier. That's not all, if you have an Ovi mail account, and why wouldn't you, you'll find that Contacts will now automatically be added to your online email database, making it easier to stay in touch when out and about.
