Air Hockey is available for free on the Nokia Ovi Store. You take control of a paddle on a virtual hockey board by dragging it using the touchscreen on your handset. We played Air Hockey using a Nokia X6.

The aim is to use the paddles to both defend your goal, and knock the puck into your opponents goal. It's simple, addictive fun. Booting up the game, presentation is basic, but Air Hockey for Nokia handsets excels where it matters - gameplay.

The controls are as responsive as they could be, even when the action quickens ups. We noticed no sign of slowdown. The virtual hockey board also allows plenty of space for nimble finger-work, meaning you won't need fingers the width of toothpicks to play.

Overall Air Hockey Free is a fun little free game for your Nok worth downloading to eat away a good few minutes on that dull train journey.
