If you're looking to convert Fahrenheit to Centigrade, MPH to KPH, even ancient Greek units, then Viitrio could be the perfect conversion app for your Nokia N8.

Launch Viitrio, and you'll be met by a block of nine different buttons – split up into different types of unit. The top row are made up of Lenth, Area and Volume. The middle three are Time, Temperature and Mass. Making up the bottom row, you'll find Speed, Energy and Fuel Consumption.

The biggest problem with Viitrio is the design of the app. Click on one of the units, and try to change it to something else – Feet to Metres, for instance – and you'll be met with tiny onscreen buttons. It's very tricky clicking the one you want – especially using the capacitive screen on the Nokia N8.

As soon as you click the options you want, you'll be able to enter the number you want to convert, and see the outcome. One issue is the display of the units themselves – you may have thought you selected Kilometres from the tiny menu, but it's near impossible to see, as the app displays the chosen unit in light grey, on a white background.

It's a shame, as it makes Viitrio an incredibly frustrating app to use. It has all the right ingredients for success – on paper at least – but it just lacks the polish found on the best Ovi Store apps.
