Angry Birds is without a doubt our favourite application for Nokia, combining brilliant simplicity, with innovative levels and addictive gameplay. This latest version carries on a familiar theme, and if you're lucky it won't cost you a penny.

When we downloaded Angry Birds Seasons: Happy Valentine's Day, it cost us ￡1.50. However, the app – along with the main version of Angry Birds – is now showing up in the Ovi Store as free. We thought it was well worth the asking price, but if you've been waiting for more levels, and getting by with Angry Birds Lite, now's your chance!

Predictably enough, there are plenty of hearts, pretty colours and gift-wrapped presents in Angry Birds Seasons: Happy Valentine's Day. It doesn't make any changes to the base premise of the game, however, which is still to fling your angry birds at the pigs, and get your stolen eggs back.

Even the pigs get in out the romantic action, wearing red bows, and with homes shaped like hearts. We even spotted Cupid in the second level, although who he's waiting to fire an arrow at isn't quite clear. What is, is that Angry Birds remains as fun and original as ever, even if the concept hasn't changed.

We love it, and it's a great way to pass the odd ten minutes here and there. And if you can get it for free, then even better! Check out Angry Birds Seasons in action below, and then pick it up from the Ovi Store.
