The Nokia C2-01, like the cheaper Nokia C1-02, comes in the new smaller packaging, which is all part of the eco-drive Nokia is forging across all its range. Fear not, the box comes with everything you need, so along with the Nokia C2-01 itself there is also a 2mm connector charger, headphones for the 3.5mm audio jack and the user manuals.
The Nokia C2-01 weighs in at 89g and measure a neat 110 x 47 x 15mm. Bluetooth connectivity is built-in, along with an FM radio, highlighting just how far entry-level phones have come in the past couple of years. You’ll also be able to listen to your own music on the Nokia C2-01, with microSD cards of up to 16GB supported.
The phone itself has a nice solid feel to it. The screen is bright, the buttons nice and big so texting should be a doozy and the general build quality is reassuring Nokia. Nokia is quoting a talk time of over 5 hours and a standby time of over 18 days. We'll be checking this out over the course of our full Nokia C2-01 review.
The Nokia C2-01 costs £79 (inc. VAT) SIM free, making this a great little entry-level budget phone.
