Paper Plane has you guiding a (you guessed it) paper aeroplane past feathered obstacles while attempting to avoid popping ominously placed balloons in this free Ovi Store game requiring delicate finger work. Read our Paper Plane review for the full verdict.
The idea is to glide the paper plane for as long as possible, being careful not to pop the balloons, or ruffle the feathers of the flying birds. How long will you be able to last? That depends. Initially you won't last very long until you suss out the controls.
You glide the plane by holding your finger at a point on the screen higher or below the paper aeroplane to make it fly upwards and downwards respectively. Initially we kept tapping like fools attempting to keep the plane airborne, but once you realise what to do, the control system works well enough.
The first few minutes if keeping your plane aloft won't be too tricky, but attempt to break further from that score and things get trickier, making Paper Plane a neat distraction for those willing to ignore the childish visuals.
Paper Plane isn't the most fun or engaging title around, but what it does it does well enough. Easy controls, eye-friendly visuals and a neat gameplay challenge makes Paper Plane a decent free Ovi Store title.
