The Nokia C1-02, Nokia C2-01 and Nokia C3-01 Touch and Type are in the house, so we thought it would be a great opportunity to get all three side-by-side and show you what they look like. We’re not aware on anyone having got their hands on all three before, so this may well be you’re first chance to check out the Nokia C1-02, Nokia C2-01, Nokia C3-01 Touch and Type hands-on.

The Nokia C1-02, Nokia C2-01 and Nokia C3-01 Touch and Type are great examples of Nokia tapping into the different needs of different users. Each one is aimed at a slightly different target market, both in terms of price and those all important features.

What’s more, having the Nokia C1-02, Nokia C2-01 and Nokia C3-01 Touch and Type on hand is a great way of exploring the thinking behind Nokia’s naming and numbering system. All three devices are in the C Series, which is typically made up of Classic phones, but at NokNok we like to think of C as standing for Consumer, as in mainstream and accessible, not high-end like the Nokia N8 or business specific like the Nokia E7.

Then there is the numbering, with the bigger the number the higher up the food chain the device will be in terms of features and super tech spec.

Nokia C1-02

For example, the Nokia C1-02 is very much the entry-level device, it packs the same Series 40 OS as the other devices here but you’ll find that everything is kept simple. The screen is a basic 1.8-inch display with 128 x 160-pixel resolution. Then there is the fact you won’t find a camera on the Nokia C1-02, so no trips to happysnaps to get your holiday snaps printed out. The Nokia C1-02 is so new that it doesn’t have a UK price yet but we’re expecting it to be well under £50 SIM free. Check out our Nokia C1-02 unboxing review

Nokia C2-01

The Nokia C2-01 sees an uplift in tech as you’ll find the screen is a 2-inch display with 240 x 320-pixel resolution, the same as on the more expensive Nokia C3-01 Touch and Type. Then there is the addition of a camera, which at 3.2-Megapixel may not be cutting-edge but it’s more than enough for sharing snaps with family and friends. With a price of £79 (inc. VAT) SIM free this is pretty much the best budget phone out there. Check out our Nokia C2-01 unboxing review

Nokia C3-01 Touch and Type

The daddy of the three is the Nokia C3-01 Touch and Type but with a price tag of less than £140 (inc. VAT) SIM free is still something of a budget number. You’ll find the step up in tech comes in the form of a 2.4-inch screen, which is the biggest here, as well as the addition of a touchscreen display. Then there is the standard keypad, so you can access you phone whichever way you find it easiest. Then there is the camera, which is a more than impressive 5-Megapixel camera, so you’ll be able to take great snaps wherever you happen to be. Check out our Nokia C3-01 Touch and Type review
