One of the advantages of that nice big touchscreen on the Nokia C5-03 is that you can pin your favourite contacts directly to it and access them with a single tap. Join us after the cut to see just how you go about it. Read on to find out How To Add Contacts To Your Nokia C5-03 HomeScreen.
To add contacts to the home screen, your first step is to make sure you have the right home screen layout activated. To check this on the Nokia C5-03, tap Menu, then Settings, Personal and Home screen. Go into Home screen themes and make sure Contacts bar is selected.
On returning to the home screen you should now see a blank thumbnail icon titled Add. Adding your first contact, or any further contacts thereafter, is simply a matter of tapping this icon and choosing whose details you wish to pin to the home screen from your contacts list – note that you can also add a link to your own Ovi profile from here.

If you haven't attached an image to the contact's profile, you'll be prompted to do so – either from your phone's memory or by taking a pic on the spot. Not to worry if you want to skip this step, though: you can still proceed regardless if you so choose.
And that's about that – your chosen contact will now have their own dedicated icon on your Nokia C5-03's home screen, complete with a thumbnail image if you chose one. You can add as many as 20 contacts in total, and cycling between them is as simple as a side swipe across the icons.
Tap a specific contact's icon and you'll see a call log and all your recent messages in one handy list. To edit a contact's info, simply tap Options on the bottom left, and then Settings from the menu that appears. Here you can amend their details, add a new pic, link to an Ovi friend, or remove their privileged status as a home screen contact altogether.
