If you’ve got hundreds of text messages on your Nokia C7, you may be wondering how to delete them. Thankfully, it’s easy to do. Join us after the break to find out how to delete all or several of your text messages on your Nokia C7…

Once you get hundreds – or even thousands – of text messages on your Nokia C7, you may start to notice your handset slow down a little. Deleting your messages is one option – even if it’s only those from the Sent folder that you no longer need.

Click on Menu, followed by Messaging, and then click on either Inbox or Sent, depending on which messages you want to delete. Then click on Options, Mark/Unmark, and click Mark All to tick all of your text messages.

If you want to unmark a message, so this one isn’t deleted, tap on it and hold, and then select Unmark when the menu pops up. Once the messages are marked, you’ll see a little tick appear next to the message.

To delete, simply tap on Options and Delete. Click Yes when asked whether you want to proceed, and your old messages will be deleted.

    So, same as the n97 mini? You have to go into the menu, select mark, and then come out of the menu for each one you want to mark – which is a pain. What would be good would be to select ‘mark’ then scroll through tapping on all the ones you want to mark.
