Our friends over at Nokia Beta Labs are always busy cooking up tasty new treats for Nokia mobile phone owners, and their latest creation is Nokia Drop, a feature that allows you to push content quickly and easily to your Symbian-powered Nokia. Join us after the break for more!

Available for Symbian^3 and Symbian S60 5th Edition handsets such as the Nokia N8 and Nokia C6-01, Nokia Drop creates an instant pathway between the web and your handset, which you can use in all sorts of ways.

Should you wish to change your Nokia's homescreen wallpaper to an image you've spotted online on your PC, for instance, you'd normally have to go through quite a process to grab it from the web, then resize and save it, before porting it over to your Nokia to set as your wallpaper.

With Nokia Drop, however, the process becomes simplicity itself. Thanks to the associated browser plug-in for your PC, all it takes is a simple right-click on the image of your choice, and you'll have the option to send it straight to your phone.

It couldn't be simpler, and doesn't require any fussing about with cables or Bluetooth.

And that's just the start of Nokia Drop's usefulness – sending images or web links to your phone, for instance, is just as simple, and just as convenient.

But don't take our word for it – check out the beta of Nokia Drop for yourself, and then tell us what you think in the Comments.
