Good news for Nokia Series 40 phone users: the Nokia Internet Radio app has just graduated from Nokia Beta Labs to the full Ovi Store, and is available to download now. Read on for more details...
Nokia Internet Radio lets you browse and play back online radio stations directly from your Series 40 phone, with support for favourites lists and the ability to search music with Ovi Store on supported stations.
The first full version of the app is available from the Ovi Store in two variants: one for the non-touch Nokia C3-03's XVGA resolution, and a second for the Nokia X3-02 and Nokia C3-01 Touch & Type handsets. At this stage devices with screen sizes smaller than QVGA aren't supported.
“The team would like to thank the community for the valuable feedback we’ve received during the beta trial,” the Nokia Internet Radio for Series 40 team wrote on the Beta Labs blog.
“The feedback very much helped us improve the application in terms of both functionality and stability. Some of the suggestions were too big to address in the current application. They will be included in a totally new version that we have already started.”
Take note, though: if you have been using the beta version that has been available through Nokia Beta Labs, you'll need to uninstall it first before downloading the full version.
