The Nokia X7 has landed and brings with it one of the most striking designs from Nokia yet. The 4-inch AMOLED touchscreen display mixes stainless steel and glass with a four-vent design that is perfect for gamers and social networking buffs alike. The Nokia X7 has been launched and comes packed with everything the high-end smartphone enthusiast needs. The 4-inch AMOLED screen comes with Gorilla glass, so is nigh unbreakable, while the 640 x 360-pixel- resolution makes it perfect for watching movies of playing games. Galaxy on Fire and Asphalt Five comes pre-installed on-board.
Weighing in at 146g and measuring 119.7 x 62.8 x 11.9mm, the Nokia X7 has a stunning design, with a stainless back that is tapered at the edges that gives it an aerodynamic look. The Nokia X7 is also the first smartphone (along with the Nokia E6) to use the latest Symbian^3 PR2.0 update, which we now know will go by the name of Symbian Anna. So, you’ll find a clutch of new features, such as faster web browser, QWERTY keyboard in Portrait mode, as well as a super-fast user experience.
Other key features include HSDPA, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth, while the 8-Megapixel camera is a full-focus EDoF device and offers up HD video support at 720p resolutions at 25 frames per second. With 350MB of internal memory, you’ll be glad it comes with a microSD slot – an 8GB card is supplied in the box and can readily support up to 32GB in capacity.
Nokia is also quoting some pretty good operating times for the Nokia X7, with up to 50 hours of music playback, while chatter boxes can find up to 9.5 hours of talk-time and up to 450 hours in standby mode.
We think the Nokia X7 looks amazing and will certainly appeal to a wide range of users. With an expected price of 380 Euros before taxes, we can expect this powerhouse to land in Q2 of this year, so not long at all!
