The Nokia E7 is a full QWERTY communicator that comes wiht a 4-inch AMOLED touchscreen that comes with the rather nice Nokia ClearBlack Display (CBD) technology, to make the screen a sheer pleasure to view, while the keyboard is an equal joy to use.  We've been testing it out over the last few weeks, so why not check out our Nokia E7 review roundup and see what makes this the best Nokia communicator ever!

The Nokia E7 is a Symbian^3 smartphone aimed at the busy business user who needs to stay in touch with contacts and the office and reply in detail when on the go. Nokia E7 Unboxing Review

What’s in the box, that’s what everyone wants to know and we have to admit that it was no different with the Nokia E7. After all, this has to be one of the best looking devices Nokia has ever released. Sure, it take sits design cues from the Nokia N8 but the subtle changes make it a dream device.

The Menu button has been made central, rather than off to the side, while the 8-Megapixel camera on the back means it’s sleeker and slimmer than the 12-Megapixel housing on the Nokia N8. Then there are subtle changes, such as the zoom dials for the camera and volume control, rather than rocker buttons, and the SIM card insertion slot is also aluminium and has as an attention to detail all its own.

Nokia E7 Hardware Review

The aluminium unibody design feels great in the hand and while we were a little concerned that a 4-inch smartphone would be too big this doesn’t feel the case. Weighing in at 176g and measuring 124 x 62 x 14mm this device is big but not overly so. If you’ve used the Nokia N8, you’ll know the two devices have a similar design DNA and the bodies look pretty much the same. Considering the Nokia E7 packs in a QWERTY keyboard both devices have pretty much the same thickness, when you take into account the camera housing on the Nokia N8.

Nokia E7 Keyboard Review

The Nokia E7 succeeds or fails on how well you get on with its QWERTYT keyboard. After all, being able to fire off messages and write longer documents it to key aim of this device. Thankfully, we’ve found it a joy to use. The keyboard is well spaced with the individually mounted keys having being slightly flat to the touch but highly responsive. We’ve been using the Nokia E7 for a few weeks now and found it to be a highly balanced and comfortable keyboard to use.

Nokia E7 Camera Review

The Nokia E7 first and foremost is a business tool but the fact it also comes with a pretty high-end camera means you can use it for more than just firing off emails. Nokia E7 Symbian^3 Software and Interface Review

The Nokia E7 is an impressive device and if you’re really to put it through its paces then you need to get to grips with the Symbian^3 operating system. Sure, it still has a great deal of the look and feel of the older Symbian S60 5th Edition about it but for the most part it’s smoother, loads quicker and generally has a far more intuitive interface.
