Ringing one of your friends using speed dial is easy – you can assign a number to nine of your friends, and then simply bring up the onscreen keyboard, hold down one of the numbers and your Nokia N8 will ring that person.
To set up speed dialling, press the menu button, and then press Settings. Click on Calling, and then it's a simple case of pressing Speed Dialling. This brings up the number 1-9, in a large onscreen keypad.
Pick the number you want to assign a contact to, and this will bring up your contacts list. Pick a person, and they'll appear where the number was. Once you've finished, press the menu or back button to exit.
