We liked Transformers but the second one sucked, that pretty much summed up the feelings of a generation brought up on Megatron and the other Autobots fighting against the Decepticons. So, Michael Bay has a lot to prove and from early reports he hasn’t missed a beat this time around.

The plot, if we need one, involves the Autobots as they discover that a Cybertronian spacecraft is hidden on the Moon. The thing is, the Decepticons have learnt about it too so a race is on to see who reach it first and learn its secrets.

We downloaded the Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon on our Nokia E7 and have to admit that while the video is pretty much just a teaser, showing the moon landing in 1969 and the discovery of the Decepticon vessel, which is then covered up for 40 years, it does get the heart pumping.

Visually it looks stunning and the premise sounds like it’s going to be a cracking film. Shia LaBeouf is back as Sam, while Megan Fox won’t be too missed as super-model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley steps into the breach as his female counterpart.
