We've already been treated to a couple of exciting new faces in the Nokia smartphone lineup recently in the Nokia X7 and Nokia E6, but Nokia may well have another big announcement up its sleeve in just a week's time. Intrigued? Read on for more details.
Nokia has sent out a 'Save the Date' invite for an event in Athens next Tuesday, May 17, and the mobile industry is abuzz speculating what could be on the cards.

We have no idea ourselves, but we're certainly excited to find out. Could we be just a week away from seeing the all-important first Windows Phone 7-powered Nokia?

It sounds unlikely, but we do know that Nokia is already a long way down the product development road, and if it's looking at an end-of-year launch, announcing its plans now wouldn't be that far-fetched.
On the other hand, we could be looking at the announcement of that single MeeGo device Nokia has promised will hit the market at some point this year.
Then again, is it too much to hope for even more new Symbian devices so soon after the Nokia X7 and Nokia E6 broke cover? Possibly, but we do know there's a mysterious T Series line Nokia is working on, so perhaps the announcement will be something along those lines.
For now, we're as much in the dark as you are, but we're certainly excited to find out what Nokia has brewing next week. What do you think it is – another Symbian handset, a grand unveiling of Nokia's first Windows Phone device, or something else entirely? Give us your thoughts in the Comments below.
