We asked you a little while ago to set your imagination loose and tell us what your ultimate dream accessory would be for the Nokia N8, and you haven't disappointed in your response. Read on as we reveal the top five suggestions we've had so far.

So, we've been asking you what your 'dream' Nokia N8 accessory would be and you've all been highly vocal. Here we list the Top Five accessories you guys woudl love to see!

1 Docking Station By far and away the most popular choice, a Nokia N8 docking station got the nod from Tim, ScottW and RoyN. “The N8 has most of the features I’d want, already built-in, but I would really like to have a netbook-like 'docking station' for the N8,” Tim says.

2 PC emulator This one is the dream add-on for Andrew Lowrens, who says: “to replicate the N8 on one's computer so that when in office, attach the N8 to the computer and do everything, including phoning through the speakers.” Sounds like a winner to us, Andrew.

3 NFC via microUSB “NFC which you plug into the micro USB slot,” states Kevin Peck simply. This is one we'd very much like to see ourselves, Kevin. NFC is taking off in 2011, and it would be nice of non-NFC capable could join the fun too.

4 Projector Vivek Mashruwala reckons an on-board projector would be a great add-on for the Nokia N8, and we're certainly not going to argue. Imagine being able to take loads of snaps with the Nokia N8's stunning camera on a day out, then simply show them off to the family via a built-in projector. A great idea.

5 Fisheye lens Kuba Figura has come up with this quirky but tantalising-sounding suggestion. The optics involved would be a stretch for a mobile device, but if Nokia could get it right, it would take the Nokia N8's camera capabilities to a whole new level.
