Nokia E7: How To Change The Time And Set Up An Alarm

To find out how to change the time and set up an alarm on your Nokia E7, join us after the cut… The clock is the first thing you’ll want to change when you get your Nokia E7 charged and running, as the chances are it’ll be the wrong time.
This can be done in seconds, however, and is easy to do. Your Nokia E7 will already have a date/time widget set up on one of the multiple home screens.
Tap the little clock icon to get going. This brings up the clock app, to change the time simply press Options, Settings and then enter the new time/date.
Click on Back once you’ve done this. You can change the clock from analogue to digital by tapping the clock icon on the left side of the screen. To set up an alarm, again you want to be running the clock app, so if it’s gone back to your home screen tap the clock widget again. Then click New Alarm.
Enter the time, and if you want it repeated – every day, for instance, or just at weekends, then enter that below. You’ll be able to set as many alarms as you want – either singular ones or repeated alarms – just press New Alarm to keep adding. If there’s anything else you want to know about the Nokia E7, then please leave a comment. We’re adding several tutorials a week, along with answering any of your questions.

Nokia E7: How To Improve Battery Life
The Nokia E7 is the ultimate business phone, but it’s the battery life that surprises the most. With a charge of several days, it outlasts all of its rivals. Better yet, it’s easy to make the battery last for even longer, keeping you working for all of the day. Join us after the break to find out how…
There are lots of ways to make Nokia smartphones last for longer – from dimming the screen to turning off Bluetooth – but you usually have to change all the settings manually. Things have changed a lot with the Nokia E7 and Symbian ^3, which includes its own Power Saving Mode. Simply click in the top right corner of the home screen, then press the battery icon, and click Power Saving Mode.
This automatically dims the screen on your Nokia E7, along with changing the network coverage from 3G to GSM. Using a 3G connection takes up lots of power, and unless you’re browsing the internet it’s not actually required. This should make a huge difference to the battery life of your Nokia E7. It’s also worth checking that both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are turned off.
You can do this using the Connectivity screen – again click the top right corner of the screen, but this time select the two arrows rather than the battery.
We’ll be bringing you comprehensive tutorials, offering all you need to know. Feel free to ask any questions, and we’ll try to let you know the answers.
