Nokia Wellness Diary to Leave Beta, Seeks New Name!

If you haven't already tried out the beta version of Nokia's Wellness Diary, we'd strongly advise giving it a go. But with this useful utility approaching its commercial release, Nokia has a diffeerent challenge for you: come up with a fresh new name for the full app.

If you're not familiar with the Wellness Diary concept, it's an all-in-one diary to help you reach your wellness goals by documenting things like your sleep, exercise and eating routines.

You can set individual goals, such as a certain number of steps you want to complete every day to boost your general fitness (yes, it can count your steps too), or the number of hours of sleep you want to target every day.

By giving you broader scope to document and analyse your patterns, the Wellness Diary provides an insight into areas of your life that perhaps you're unaware are being neglected, such as not getting enough sleep overall, so that you can improve your overall wellness.

That's just a quick summary of its many talents, of course, and for a better understanding simply download the free beta of the latest version 2.0.3 from Ovi Store.

But Wellness Diary is changing.

After a successful trial period it's now nearing a full commercial release, and while the name Wellness Diary served Nokia well over this time, it's now looking to find a new final name for the full application. Ideally, the name should consist of a single word that encapsulates what the app stands for and what it does, and embraces the sense that it's very much your companion in improving your wellness. To help give you a few ideas, and get a better sense of what Wellness Diary is all about, check out the video below.

With a final deadline of tomorrow (May 20), there's still time to have your say in the naming of this great little app, so email your suggestions to wellness.diary@nokia.com – of course, feel free to post them here too in the Comments to help inspire your fellow NokNok readers.
