The Nokia E7 is a great all-round business smartphone but it’s so much besides. For instance, as it comes with a Dual Flash module it also makes for a stonking torch, ideal for when you’re trying to find your keys in the dark or just need to nip down a dark path. But how do you switch it on? Here we show you how to switch on the Nokia E7 torch.

The Nokia E7 may be famed for its 4-inch touchscreen panel with ClearBlack Display (CBD) technology and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard but the 8-Megapixel camera comes with Dual Flash so you’ll find it a pretty powerful torch.

We had a query from NokNok reader Johan asking how to switch on the Nokia E7 torch functionality, so we thought it was worth a quick guide. To switch on the Nokia E7 torch simply hold down the Screen Lock on the left-hand side for a couple of seconds.

You’ll hear and feel a little ‘zugg zugg’ and the torch will come on! You can now let go of the Screen Lock and use the Nokia E7 torch without it going off. In order to turn the Nokia E7 torch off again all you have to do is repeat the process, wait for the ‘zugg zugg’ and it’ll switch off. It’s worth bearing in mind that running the torch for long periods of time will have an effect on your battery life, so best to only use it in short bursts.
