The Nokia C2-00 is the latest Nokia device to get the dual SIM treatment with the difference being that this C Series feature phone also comes with Dual Standby, just like the Nokia X1-01. Read on to find out more about the Nokia C2-00 dual SIM Dual Standby feature phone.
The Nokia C2-00 is a Series 40 phone so comes with all the features and additional software we’ve become accustomed to on such entry-level feature phones. Having S40 running on the phone means you’ll be able to access the internet using the built-in web browser and use Nokia Messaging for email.
Surely, the big difference with the Nokia C2-00 is that it comes with Easy Swap access, something that’s currently only found on Nokia phones. Easy Swap allows you to swap SIM cards on the phone without the need to switch off or reboot. It works by one SIM card, the primary SIM, being stored internally, while the second card can be accessed using a slot on the side of the Nokia C2-00. So, if you need to swap SIM cards, it’s a simple process.
To make this even more streamlined and appealing, each SIM card can be given its own name and comes with its own SIM manager, dedicated Logo and MP3 ringtone. The Nokia C2-00 comes with GPRS, Bluetooth, Media player, FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack and even a VGA camera for taking snaps.
The 128 x 160-pixel screen is a nice size on a phone measuring 108 x 45 x 14.65mm and weighing just 74g. Battery life is also expected to be pretty amazing with Nokia predicting up to 19.2 days in standby mode, and over 5.75 hours in talk time.
The Nokia C2-00 is expected to ship this quarter in India, China, South-East Asia/Pacific region, Middle East and Africa, Eurasia and Brazil and costs 45 Euros before taxes.
