The first Nokia Windows Phone devices to ship later this year will come with the latest Windows Phone mango update inside. What's more, they won't look like the concept designs we've already seen. Instead they'll bring new levels of innovation to smartphone design. Find out about the new Nokia Windows Phones after the jump.

Microsoft has announced a slew of changes that will be coming to the Windows Phone platform later this year but the big news is that Nokia has announced that its first Nokia Windows Phone smartphones will be using the OS. Microsoft Mango is set to ship this Autumn, so we're hoping it won't be too long after this that the first Nokia Windows Phone hardware makes an appearance.

That means we'll see the likes of a better Bing experiences, improved Live Tiles and even handsfree Messaging, which brings speech-to-text services to life! Then there are the social networking aspects with Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn on the homescreen, so you can see live updates straight from your address book.

What's more, an article over at Forbes has Jo Harlow, Nokia's Executive Vice President of Smart Devices, quoted as saying 'the first batch of Nokia Windows Phones will be a “small portfolio” of multiple devices.' Harlow stresses that the first batch of smartphones won't look like the renders we've seen early, as 'One of the differentiations we intend to bring to the Windows Phone platform is hardware innovation.'

So, what can we look forward to seeing? With devices already running in the test labs at Nokia and Microsoft we may not have too long to wait. What are your thoughts on the first Nokia Windows Phones? Let us know in the Comments below.
